World Golf & LPGA Halls of Fame golfer Amy Alcott will lead a party of American golf fans to attend the 2011 Solheim Cup being played at Killeen Castle, Ireland in September 2011.
The party will be based at Carton House, a magnificent luxury hotel, located in the charming and historic university town of Maynooth, 15 miles outside the city of Dublin. Placed in the heart of an 1,100 acre demesne, the hotel is a true resort.

In addition to attending Solheim Cup matches, participants will enjoy a clinic conducted by Amy Alcott and access to unlimited golf on the Carton courses for the duration of the stay.

Carton House Grounds
Itinerary: September 19 to 27, 2011

Day 1 Arrive at Dublin Airport, where you will be met and transferred to Carton House Hotel. The remainder of the day is free to rest from your overnight flight, to play golf on one of the hotel courses, or just stroll around the charming town of Maynooth. To get your Irish stay off to a rousing start, this evening we head to Taylors Traditional Irish Cabaret for an evening of food, laughter, music and song.

Day 2 Today you'll have a choice of playing golf or taking a guided tour of Dublin. A vibrant city with a metropolitan area population of about 1.5 million people, Dublin was founded over one thousand years ago and became the capital of Ireland in the 12th century. It has remained so ever since.

Day 3 This morning, Amy will conduct a golf clinic which will be followed by a tournament for our group. This evening, some of the past captains of the Solheim Cup will come by to discuss their experiences at previous tournaments over cocktails. Prizes for the tournament will also be presented. This will be followed by a barbecue at the clubhouse.

Day 4 This morning is free to enjoy a round of golf at Carton or other activities on the estate. This afternoon we will transfer to Killeen Castle, site of the Solheim matches to attend opening ceremonies. There will be dinner at the clubhouse this evening.

Day 5,6,7 Attendance at Solheim matches. To enhance the experience we will have access to the PING VIP hospitality tent, which offers a seating area in a climate controlled environment, with television, bar, restaurant and restroom facilities.

Day 8 A final round of golf is planned for today, tentatively scheduled for the tournament course at Killeen Castle. There will be farewell cocktails and dinner at the hotel this evening.

Day 9 Depart home to the US or continue traveling.
